3rd Annual Choices Informational Faire
The 3rd Annual Choices Informational Faire for Parents and Students will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the University of California, Los Angeles. The Faire is an opportunity for parents to learn about Magnet Programs, Gifted/Talented Programs, the Permits with Transportation Program and the Public School Choice Program. All of these educational choices are available to students who reside within the boundaries of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
There will be over 135 representatives from the District’s Magnet schools. There will be workshops, student entertainment, and student displays. Experts will also be on hand to show how to access the eChoices Web site.
Please join us from 9:00 am. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1. Parking and shuttle service is free at the Federal Building, located on the southwest corner of Wilshire Blvd and Veteran Ave. or you may contact your Local District to arrange transportation from selected areas around the city. Parking on the UCLA campus is $9.00 per car.
