Do The Write Thing Challenge
Would you like to win a trip to Washington D.C.? The Do The Write Thing Challenge is an initiative of the National Campaign to Stop Violence, a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. It provides all 7th and 8th grade students with the opportunity to engage in classroom discussions regarding the impact of youth violence on their lives. In addition, it sponsors a writing contest. All national finalists from across the nation along with their teacher and once parent or guardian will be given an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. to attend the National Recognition Week scheduled for July. Put your writing skill to work and enter the writing contest. Ask your English teacher for more details.
