Old memories

I was really happy to discover that this school was still around. Those were hard years for me but I still look back fondly on my time at Bancroft. Doing that god-awful dance routine in full Cat's costumes,(I still have the pictures and my daughter thinks they're hysterical), eating outside and killing my stomach with pickles and the sort from the store.

My first "boyfriends" and the girlfriends I told my mother I'd never forgive her for taking me away from when we moved from LA to Kentucky. Perhaps my strongest memory though is of Mr. Shakman. I always told him I was going to be a lawyer, but the reality is that he's the one who inspired me to become a teacher. At a time when I really needed an adult to believe in me and support me he stepped in and I have always been grateful to him for that.

There are lots of good memories attached to this school.
